Peak Sustainability Ventures invests in HT Materials Science and
partners on India expansion.
For Immediate Distribution, December 11, 2025: HT Materials Science (HTMS), an Ireland-based energy efficiency company, has received an investment from Peak Sustainability Ventures, a Mumbai-based global climate investment firm. As part of this partnership, Peak will serve as a strategic partner for expansion into India, a critical market in the company's global growth strategy.

HTMS has developed Maxwell®, a proprietary nanofluid additive that can improve HVAC efficiency by up to 15%, significantly reducing cooling costs. Only 2% of this additive is required to be injected into liquid cooling systems, involving minimal capex and no downtime for these systems. This additive is also non-toxic, non-corrosive, and integrates seamlessly into existing systems, with a lifetime of 10+ years.

Founded in 2018 by Thomas Grizzetti and Edward Coleman, HTMS is tackling one of the fastest-growing energy challenges: cooling, which already accounts for nearly 10% of global electricity use. Demand is rising sharply, especially in India, where residential cooling needs are estimated to grow ninefold by 2050, and where commercial and industrial cooling needs make up a significant portion of operating costs for corporates.

Maxwell® has already been deployed by major players across Europe, the U.S., Asia and the Middle East, with marquee clients including the likes of Microsoft, Amazon, Saudi Aramco, Tabreed and Ericsson. HTMS is now focused on scaling its solution to the India and Asia markets, where it is seeing significant demand. Through Peak's network, HTMS has completed its first pilot installation in India with a leading industrial group, demonstrating promising initial results. Both parties anticipate substantial scaling of the technology across the region in the coming year.
