Prof. Tim Palmer is an award-winning geophysicist at Oxford University, focusing on climate and weather patterns.
Prof. Palmer researches the predictability and dynamics of weather and climate, including extreme events. He was involved in the first five IPCC assessment reports, and was co-chair of the international scientific steering committee of the World Climate Research Program Project on climate variability and predictability.
In February 2023, Prof. Palmer was awarded the Royal Astronomical Society’s 2023 Gold Medal for Geophysics, one of the highest awards in science (previous winners include Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking). Prof. Palmer completed his DPhil from Oxford University in the mid-1970s.

Prof. Pankaj Chandra is the Vice Chancellor of Ahmedabad University.
Ahmedabad University is home to the Global Centre for Environment and Energy (GCEE), focusing on climate change, and one of the first of its kind in India. Prof. Chandra has recently authored the book “Building Universities that Matter”.
Prof. Chandra was previously the Director of IIM-Bombay from 2007 to 2013, and a Professor at IIM Ahmedabad. He holds a Ph.D from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

Joseph Mariathasan is actively involved in the climate sector, and has extensive financial services experience.
Jospeh is a Director of GIST (Global Initiative for a Sustainable Tomorrow), where he provides input on strategy and growth. He is also on the Advisory Boards of Moneyhub and pinBox Solutions.
He is a Contributing Editor at Investments & Pensions Europe (IPE). He has previously worked at Shell, Kleinwort Benson, Aviva and GMO. Joseph has a doctorate in physics from Oxford University, and maintains a dialogue with the world-leading climate physics group there.

Andrew Hoffmann is an active investor and advisor in sustainability-related ventures.
Andrew is the CEO of Rock Island LLC, a real assets investment advisor, focused on the sustainability sector. He has 30+ years of experience in real assets at Merrill Lynch, JP Morgan, Brookfield, and PIMCO.
Andrew was also a Principal at Capricorn Management (Jeff Skoll's family office), one of the most active global investors in climate solutions. Andy has been an investor and advisor in companies such as AgroVision, Sevana BioEnergy, and Wild Earth.​
