Prof. Tim Palmer is an award-winning geophysicist at Oxford University focusing on climate and weather patterns. He was awarded the Royal Astronomical Society’s 2023 Gold Medal for Geophysics, one of the highest awards in science (previous winners include Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking). Prof. Palmer was involved in the five IPCC assessment reports, and is involved in the World Climate Research Program.
PROF. PANKAJ CHANDRA
Vice Chancellor & Chairman, Ahmedabad University

Prof. Pankaj Chandra is the Vice Chancellor of Ahmedabad University. He was previously the Director of IIM-B (2007-13) and a Professor at IIM-A He holds a Ph.D from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. Ahmedabad University is home to the Global Centre for Environment and Energy (GCEE), focusing on climate change, and one of the first of its kind in India. He has recently authored the book “Building Universities that Matter”.
